City of grater Bendigo is now operating the site :Open 7 days a week, Monday to Friday: 8am – 4.00pm Saturday & Sunday: 8am to 4.30pm Closed Good Friday & Christmas Day We will also close when the event of extreme heat, wind and weather conditions occur.

Reuse Rather Than Landfill

Savings in fees and care for the environment motivate people to use the Eaglehawk Recycle Shop’s Recovery Centre rather than the Eaglehawk landfill.
The Centre, which has been operating for 23 years at the entrance of the landfill, also provides jobs and a cheap location for second hand materials and products to be purchased.
Hours to change

The hours of operation of the Recovery Area at the Eaglehawk Recycle Shop will change as of Monday 30th Janurary to fall in line with the operation of the Eaglehawk Landfill. It will now operate from 8am to 4.30pm 7 days a week.
